Biotechnology
The imaging of neurochemicals is
performed by the patented and trademarked BRODERICK PROBE® sensors. The sensors
are unique in that the real-time imaging profile provided by Neuromolecular
Imaging (NMI) relays active changes in brain chemistry, thus facilitating a more
comprehensive approach studying to a wide variety of brain disorders. Developed
over the course of the last twenty years by Dr. Patricia Broderick, the sensors
have successfully been employed in many areas of clinical and pre-clinical
research, including depression, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, substance
abuse/addiction, anxiety, schizophrenia, and Alzheimer’s disease.
