Dr. Broderick and Fang are stepping off into the evening after analyzing and compiling data for poster presentations in
San Diego, California (2004) and Washington DC (2005). Dr. Broderick and all her students work
diligently to continue the innovative research made possible by BRODERICK
PROBE® sensors.
We have a new graduate student from Hunter College, Stephanie Wolfe
(her major mentor is Dr. Akira Kawamura).
We have a new post-baccalaureate CCNY student from Fordham University,
Lauren Buchheim.
We have two new first year students from the CUNY Medical
School/Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education: Annie Ma and Karyn Wat.
We are negotiating licensing agreements so that
the BRODERICK PROBE® sensors can be used throughout the
world.
Our clinical patents are being received well.
Dr. Broderick and Dr. Hope have a manuscript in press; this
manuscript will be published in 2006 in Prog. Neuro-Psychopharmacology
& Biological Psychiatry. The manuscript concerns cocaine
effects in a depressed animal model.
IRB approval has been granted by the NYU Board, for the use of
BRODERICK PROBE®
sensors intraoperatively in epilepsy/tumor
patients. |
