Computerization of Neuromolecular Imaging (NMI) was developed by Dr. Broderick at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Computerized signals (obtained first in 1984) of NMI from striatum in brain are seen in the upper right (5). Involved in the computerization was a prototype detector (4) an interface bus (3) and an Apple IIe computer (1, 2, 6). Ordinary telephone wire seen in the insert (7) was used to develop the concept for the interface bus.
